Fish and Ponds

If you were to ask me:

“Would I prefer to be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond?”

I choose the latter. I want to be small in a big world.
Why be big in a small pond? You’re out of place. If you’re a rich guy in a poor country for example, do you not feel bad about the less fortunate (might as well help)?  And in relation to them, are you actually bigger? maybe you’re just “bigger” in relation to them and you’re not really that big in the bigger picture.

In a bigger pond, you have options, you can discover. Also, maybe all of you are big to begin with; you just have a very large pond that makes all fish look relatively small.

This isn’t something to say “fuck the poor” but what I’m trying to say is that you should aim higher 🙂
